Is Surgery Required For Kidney Stone?

Hi Sir, I have had a kidney stone (4.6mm) since September 6, 2014. The pain has stopped and just light headedness and a bit of nausea. The urologist called and said he can perform a surgery. What are the pros and cons of doing such a thing and what are your thoughts?
