Is Surgery For Correcting Squint Eye Risky?

Hi,
I have squint eye from my childhood , I am now age of 25 . I have a problem on my right eye. I went to eye hospital and checked doctor suggested for squint surgery .
I am scared of surgery . since eye is the very sensitive part in our body .
Can you please tell me what are all the side effects from squint ? And please suggest me the best eye hospital which i can go for surgery.

Hello
Squint surgery is a surgery on the extra ocular muscles which control the eye movements. Since it is a extraocular surgery it is safe and does not carry risks of intraocular surgeries.
The complications are very minimal and the most common complications seen are under correction or over correction because of errors in measurements. This can be avoided by accurate measurements.
