your esophagogastric junction has moved up from 40 cm to 38 cm ...you may be having hiatus hernia with constant gas symptoms or watering of mouth ...surgery is good option ...till surgery please raise your head end of bed ...no bending forward or lying down atleast 2 hours after meals ...avoid heavy meals ...avoid too tight clothes ...and avoid soft drinks ..fast foods ...surgery is usually safe in expert hands ...best of luck
