Is Surgery Advisable For Vericocele?

hi i m 26 years old, diagnosed with vericocele from the past 7 years. i feel pain rarely in my left testicles very rarely, and my sex life is also goodd. can you please advice me what kind of treatment i should undergo for, and time of recovery,and cost of treatment. as i m staying in dubai soon i would visit to india for a treatment purposed.

Varicocele is to be treated surgically with excision of bunch of veins that's formed at top of testicle. This surgery is done by vascular surgeon and very effective. Delay in treatment might lead to decrease in sperm count. Normally there is low temperature around testis compared to other parts of body. Varicocele alters temperature control around testis and hence temperature is increased around testis and this leads to decreased sperm production. So surgery is advised at earliest possible time . It can be done at any reputed centre in India In metro city and cost varies depending on hospital and city.
