Is Surgery Advisable For Brain Tumour Interfering With The Vision?

This is for consulation of one of my relatives. She has a small tumour in the brain and her right eye vision is completely gone. Every doctor seems to have a different opinion. Some are saying it should be immediately operated upon. When they went to a senior neurosurgeon for gamma knife surgery he said he will not operate since the tumour is not growing and spreading. He told to come after 3 months. For eye he asked to Consult an opthalmologist to ease the pressure on eye etc.
