Hi,
Sudden jerky moments could be body way of trying to heat or ward of the cold. Epilepsy is not usually location or position related. Certain factors could aggravate it.
It does not appear to be epilepsy. However, if the patient is unable to remember his shaking, an evaluation by a neurologist is essential.
If there are any other concerns, do let me know.
Thank you for asking. Any further queries, do ask again.
