Is Strict Bed Rest Necessary During Pregnancy?
i m 16 week pregnent. i m diagnosed with multiple hypoechoic fibriods in uterus.there is no submucosal fibrioid but intramural fibroid and gravid uterus.My doc prescribed me strict bed rest which is not possible for me as i m working.i live in a town in India. Is strict bed rest is necessary?

Though complete bed rest is not required, it would be better to avoid any kind of strain like travelling, overtime sitting etc.. This is because these fibroid can cause miscarriage and degeneration of these fibroid can cause red degeneration.. Minimal walking with adequate time to rest in between work doesnot cause any harm to the baby.. Hope I have answered your query.. Good day..
