Is Stomach Bloating A Side Effect Of Microgestin Birth Control?

Hello I had an abortion a month ago and now I m under microgestin FE 1/20 And I had sex last week but since last week I felt my stomach bloating. This is the first time that I m under a birth control its just my stress of having sex again or a side effects of the pills?

Yes, Microgestin FE is known to cause stomach discomfort and dyspepsia. Here are my suggestions to you
1. Take Tab Pantoprazole 40 once a day before food for 1 week
2. Avoid milk, milk products, caffeine and alcohol until you are better
3. Avoid smoking

If the bloating still does not improve with these measures I advice you to approach a gastroenterologist
