I have noted your symptoms and diagnosis.
Spinal stenosis may progress in some cases, and it depends on the underlying cause of stenosis. For example, if the stenosis is due to
ligamentum flavum hypertrophy (thickening) or
disc prolapse, then, the stenosis may worsen if there is more thickening of the ligament or if there is more bulging of the discs.
In any case, doing a repeat
MRI scan of the spine would confirm the diagnosis.
Surgery may be required in cases of severe spinal stenosis.
