Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have developed soreness on the inside of my right knee just inside my kneecap. I played contact sports when I was younger and am now 64 years old. It is a chronic soreness not related to any particular activity. Could it be due to torn cartilage or some other old injury?
As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan to rule out ligament or cartilage injury.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
