Is Sneezing A Sign Of An Allergic Reaction?
Hi, and thank you for your time and expertise! I have allergies,and over time I have purchased both Zyrtec and Flonase. It struck me this morning that I have forgotten if they solve separate problems? My allergies are pretty much year round, but I don t want to over- medicate. My only problem is consistent sneezing - no itchy eyes. Might you suggest what Protocol I should follow? Many thanks, Anne 62, female, Caucasian

zyrtec or cetirizine is an antihistamine which is long acting and fairly non sedating. it will relieve your symptoms well and may be for a 24 hr duration
flonase or fluticasone is a locally acting steroid to be sprayed in the nose to control allergies locally.
both medication usually are prescribed for allergic rhinitis which you seem to be having and can be continued indefinitely.
please time the medications to your symptoms intensity if they are more in the morning after waking up have the tablet in night before sleeping and the spray in the morning after getting up
if other wise you can reverse the use the spray can be used any time for immediate relief
