Is Smoking The Cause Of Burning Sensation In Lungs?

I smoke and I have been smoking for three years at least a pack a day, about a couple of months ago When I wake up my lungs and heart feel like they re on fire. My lungs feel like there tightening as we ll as my heart, what do you believe this could possibly be?

Burning sensation of chest is commonly due to Gastritis. Smoking is also a major factor which increases the acid secretion in stomach leading to gastritis.

So my advice is to quit smoking by earliest and maintain healthy lifestyle. If problems persists, there are medicines which can help you out. You can contact your general physician.
