Is Smoking Marijuana Recommended After Wisdom Teeth Removal?

hello doc, i just got my wisdom teeth taken out this morning at 9am, i had all 4 teeth taken out, before they had pierced through the gum. i am currently home, bored as i can be. so i texted my buddy to come over and hang out for a bit to keep me company and he brought some marijuana over. now i smoke marijuana on a pretty regular basis before bed beacuse i have sleeping trouble, and also during the day as well but more at night for sleeping purposes. but i was just wondering if i smoked some if it would mess anything up beacuse thats the last thing i want, then i thought mabye if i inhaled it though my nose it would be alot better off. thank you very much for your help and on such short notice.
Thanks again - TJ

Hello
Welcome to HCM.
Smoking marijuana can give short term pleasures but does no good to the body on long term. Rather its harmful and can cause potential mental health issues.
If you have sleeping problem, its better to take some sleep inducing agents like zolpidem (prescription drug). This is a better and safe choice. All the substances of abuse (alcohol, tobacco, marijuana etc) can initially seem to improve sleep but can disturb sleep-wake cycle on long term.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
