Is Smoking Marijuana During Pregnancy Safe?

I'M PREGNANT, SHOULD I TELL MY DOCTOR THAT I SMOKE MARIJUANA TO HELP MY APPETITE?
I'M ABOUT TO GET MY LAB WORK DONE AND I'M AFRAID THAT IF THEY FIND THC IN MY BLOOD THEY WILL PUT CPS ON ME. I'VE NOT BEEN ABLE TO EAT OR DRINK AND KEEP IT DOWN. MARIJUANA SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY THING THAT HELPS. ALL MY DOCS HAVE GIVEN ME NAUSEA PILLS WHICH ONLY HELP WITH THE NAUSEA. I WAS STILL UNABLE TO EAT.

There are two questions here. Marijuana is used medically to prevent nausea and is evidently helpful to you. It will not harm you or your fetus according to almost all studies, in the moderate use as you describe.

If your doctor can prescribe it to you, as one can in some parts of the USA, then ask for a prescription. If he will report you then do not. Do you know if these blood tests regularly include tests for THC? If not, do not worry. If you fear retribution from CPS then you will have to refrain from use for a couple of weeks before the test, and flush your body with ample daily water intake. You can also get a self drug test kit to assure that the drug is not showing in your system.
