Well... at 34 weeks, you aren't going to be seriously premature.
Frankly, the worst is yet to come.
Smoking hugely increases the risk of
childhood asthma (after birth of course!)
First step is realizing the value of quitting.
THen,
nicotine replacement and this includes nicotine BLOCKING with
chantix doubles the likelihood quitting will be successful
third is a variety of techniques to overcome triggers:
1) setting a quit date (delivery comes to mind....)
2) telling the entire family (and religious group, and other groups) when the quit date is.
3) geting cigarettes, lighters, ashtrays out of the house before the quit date.
4) (and this is my invention) put sticky notes up everywhere and everytime you had an urge to smoke and didn't. You soon get surrounded by triggers that you can quit !
