Is Smoking And Drinking Safe After Total Hysterectomy?
Hi, i had a total hysterectomy procedure last may 8,2017( 3 months from now). I thinking if i am healed already. What are the signs that i am not okay. But so far i dont feel anything un usual in my body. I am just worried because i had sexual intercourse 3 weeks after my operation and i am smoking ang drinking alcohol occassionaly.is there any harmful effect?how would i know if i am healed and no complications occured? Thank you.
The fact that you are feeling fine, even after having sexual intercourse 3 weeks after surgery, shows that nothing could be wrong. You may take limited amounts of alcohol or smoke occasionally without causing any ill-effect to the operated part. Not that smoking or taking alcohol is advocated, but it would not interfere with the surgery done.
