I am 20, 5 7 175 lbs. I had pnemonia on the dates through sept 15 - about the sept 23 I was on levaquil. On sept 27 I got chest X-ray which showed I was pneumonia free, but major pain and low grade fever still occurred. I went to the ER the same day and they diagnosed me with pleuritis. I was on predinisone for 9 days. But mild pain still continued. I went to the dr on October 9, they took ekg, and sonogram and diagnosed me with a medium pericarditis. I went to a pulmonologist on October 16 and they said my plueritic was gone, and to take ibuprofen for a week. I also went to the cardiologist on October 16, I took another ekg and sonogram which he said the medium pericarditis is now smaller than last week and to just take ibuprofen twice a day.I was a smoker of both cigarettes and pot.I am no longer going to smoke cigarettes. But still plan on smoking pot.Is it safe to do or is it going to cause a heart attack or a reacurrance of this situation?
