Is Smoking Marijuana Safe After A Septoplasty?

I had septoplasty deviated septum nose surgery on Tuesday and haven t smoked weed since Monday day before my operation and its been four days now and was wondering if it is alright to take a bong rip and if I do will it affect my healing process or make my nostrils get infected

Hi,

Yes, the smoke is known to cause inflammation of nasal passage...so it is bound to disturb the healing process.

Ideally, it's advisable to restrain from smoking till complete healing & normalisation of the surgical stitches (about 3-5 weeks ).
