Is Slight Fever And Swelling In An Infant After Vaccination Normal?

Dearest Dr, One simple question. Yesterday i went to nearest best child specialist & have given him vaccination injection but soon after given him injection. Symptoms observed 1. Slight Fever. 2. Swelling at the site of injection. 3. Mood Swings. 4. Crying. 5. Not taking food properly. Dr. has advised to give him Medicines 1. Syrup Febrex Plus 2. Neopeptine Plus. 3. Syrup Colimex. HIS AGE IS 11 MONTHS OLD (SON) Please advise us what to do Ashish Ghosh

All these symptoms are common after vaccination. The medicines prescribed are absolutely fine. Because of slight fever your child must be showing mood swings. Give cold compress on the injection site and he might feel better. If irritability persists, Mefanic acid syrup could be given SOS.
