Is Slight Cramping And Brown Vaginal Discharge Sign Of Pregnancy?

Okay I'm 17 about 5ft 3" and ... 8st ish? I have very irregular periods anyway and I know I'm supposed to be on around this sort of time of the month but I'm still getting slight cramps and instead of blood it's this brown ... well sludge I guess. Not nice. Is it because of stress or am I pregnant? (Yes I am sexually active but he didn't finish and we used a condom) This is terrifying me now please help!

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1. First of all do not panic.

2. With the history of irregular cycles, and protected sex activity, as such chances of getting pregnant are almost nil.

3. Still to clear the dilemma about pregnancy, I will suggest you to wait at least for 15 to 20 days after the last sexual activity.

You can confirm or rule out the pregnancy with -
A. Presence of HCG in urine pregnancy test or blood test.
B. USG.

4. Even if you are pregnant, you can opt for for termination of the pregnancy with medicines safely till 9 weeks of pregnancy under medical supervision.

If you are not pregnant then youcan simply wait for the onset of periods or induce the periods with progesterone tablets . Your treating doctor can guide you further about the doses and withdrawal bleeding of the progesterone tablets.

5. A detailed USG will be of help to know the reason for your irregular cycles, like PCOS.

I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
