Is Skin Growth On An Eyebrow A Symptom Of Skin Cancer?

I developed a skin growth on my right eyebrwo last year, and it appears to be spreading. It is annoyingly attached to a nerve... which might be a merkel-cell something or other. I am getting a little concerned that this might be a form of skin cancer. My doctor (Robert Neff of Hocking Valley Medical Group) just retired before we could look into this thing with maybe a biopsy. I have not yet signed up with any other doctor yet. What would you suggest? I m 69 and have a sort of end-stage kidney failure that has bottomed out at a GFR of 25. My overall health is good, but I don t run marathons.Thanks.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is difficult to say anything without a clinical examination.
If there is a definite growth, then biopsy will provide the definite diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query.
