Hi,

This actually depends on size of the defect and healthiness of the epithelium surrounding it.

Spider bites often cause bad necrosis demanding thorough debridement, leaving large defects needing grafting.

Healing may sometimes occur even otherwise, but grafting makes it faster and improve cosmetic appearance. Your doctor will discuss with you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK
