Is Sinusitis Contagious?

My husband has been diagnosed with sinusitis and is on antibiotics. He sounds like he has a bad cold and stuffed head but doctor says he is not contagious. Is that true? We are supposed to be around a new baby later today and don t know if we should go?

Hi dear! Good question.
If your spouse is suffering from bad cold and has symptoms of sneezing fever running nose or cough ideally should not visit newbornbaby.
If visiting take care to cover yourself with a mask.clean your hands with a good sanitizer before holding baby.
And yes if you don't have any of these symptoms then sinusitis is noncontagious .
Enjoy your visit
Hope you are satisfied with the answer..
