Is Sinusitis Contagious?
Hello, I seem to have sinusitis and was put on an antibiotic today as well as given a steroid shot. I ve been sick for a week and finally went to the doctor this morning. But, my family is coming to visit from out of state tomorrow late afternoon and will be spending the night. Do you think I am contagious? My Dad has emphysema and I don t want to make him sick. Thank you

I have gone through your query. Sinusitis is a bacterial infection and is not that contagious but close contact should be avoided. You can wear a mask when meeting your family or they can wear mask when meeting you. This will be helpful to avoid any chance of spread also.
