Is Shortness Of Breath With Lightheadedness An Urgent Issue To Be Concerned?

I have an appointment at the VA for a Pulmonary Function Test in early January. However, while I am experiencing shortness of breath when I exert myself, I am now experiencing lightheadedness pretty regularly. While I do not "feel" fatigued at the moment, I do get exhausted pretty easily. My stamina is low. I am 65.
Should I go immediately to see a doctor, or do you think I should just inform them of these other symptoms when I go for my PFT test in January?

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hearing about this shortness of breath on exercise and the light headedness. There is actually nothing life threatening that requires an immediate visit to the doctor. Because your appointment is pretty soon, I will suggest that you simply report these to them so that they can also investigate for when you go for the testing.

I hope you find this helpful. I wish you the best of health. Thank you so much for using our services and doo feel free to request for more information if need be.
