Is Short Period A Indication Of Pregnancy?
My husband and I are trying to conceive. I stopped my oral birth control on June 27th. Started my period on June 29 and July 29th, but then not again until September 5th and this one only lasted 2 days. I took a home pregnancy test on 9/4 and it was negative. Could I still be pregnant?

I understand your concern.
- Your period was due on August 29th. you had home pregnancy test on after 11 days of periods & it was -ve. The urine pregnancy test most of the times turns +ve after 8-10 days of delayed periods.
- Though sometimes delayed & short periods may come in spite of conception,
The fact that you hd bleeding,& pregnancy test was -ve after 11 days goes more in favor of no conception.
- Still your doubt can be cleared by blood HCG testing.
