Is Shacking Of Hands And Fingers A Side Effect Of Prednisone?

I have been taking prednisone off and on for three months due to my asthma I have been on up to 80 mgs a day. I am currently on 40 mgs and will reduce that to 30 mgs tomorrow. I have recently noticed that my whole body is shacking and my hands and fingers tend to cramp for extended periods of time. is there anything I can take to reduce these side effects

As a patient of asthma, what other medications you are on apart from the prednisone ? In case you take salbutamol, and terbutaline, these drugs do cause shaking of hands and fingers. If you are on, then you have to discontinue this drug after consultation with your family physician/treating doctor.
