Is Severe Pain In The Chest A Symptom Of Heart Disease?
I was awakened by a severe painful sharp knife like paing going through my heart and was unable to move either to my left or right to get my breath nor could I sit up. My left arm was hurting and my chest began to ache as though I had a car sitting on it. I am having a gasto test to see how severe my Chron's disease is. Could I have had a heart attach. I have had a mild infarction before when I crushed my left arm and it took 2 surgeries to reconstruct my arm along with a following knee surger and back suregery. This all began in 2005.
hi there the symptoms narrated by you are pointing towards an ischaemic heart disease in simple words yes you could have had an heart attack but to confirm it we need to run few tests and if anything suggestive in them then we need to take you for a coronary angiogram. Consult your cardiologist at earliest. Good luck
