Hello,
The pain you are experiencing is perhaps due to the position adopted during the procedure, namely, the lithotomy or the extended lithotomy position. There can be pressure on the hips and back during the process and this may cause lingering pain. If the pain is severe and/or persistent, please see an orthopedic for further help. Also, make sure that there is no pelvic infection subsequent to the procedure as this can also cause similar symptoms. You can take simple analgesics and hot fomentation to relieve pain if it is muscular or bony. Hope this helps.
