Is Sensitivity To Smell Due To Neuropathy?

I have smelled toast 3 times over the last couple of weeks when none was present & I normally have an extr res a sensitive smell to smells that are actually there. My dr recently put me om gabapentin for neoropathy. Could this be the cause f me smelling toast ?

I really appreciate your concern, it could be olfactory hallucination and it may not be due to the medicine but it is the functional kind of disease try to control your thought because it not the pathological process hope this information helps.
