Is Scabies A Contagious Disease?

Hi, my sister (age 36) was just diagnosed with scabies last weekend and was treated immediately. Her children and my children plan to spend the night at grandma s house this Saturday but I am concerned with my kids being exposed to her kids since they have not been treated. Do you agree that my kids should stay away for awhile due to the 1-2 month incubation period?

Hello,

I have gone through your query and would recommend your kids to stay away from your sister’s kids for a few weeks to avoid any infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
