Is Saw Palmeto The Right Medication For Prostatitis?

Is this drug for the prostatitis? I ve been taking tamsulosina because my urologist recommended me but i didn´t get better so I m thinking about starting to take the saw palmeto in order to try to feel better My name is Carlo and I m peruvian thanks

thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com....

the drug saw-palmetto is used in benign prostatic hypertrophy...but it is not FDA approved....so the side effects, risk factors etc are not very much known or proved....
whereas tamsulosin takes some time to effect fully....i dont know for how long you have been using it...but you should give it some more time....it is a very useful and effective drug.....
