i'm having a back pain, blood reports are normal. X-ray says l2 -l5 s1 disc spaces are mildly disminised. Doc asked me to use the nerve tab. Sabantic plus. Is it hermless to go for a nerve tab? Other doc asked to take high does calcium tab. CalintaMax .I'm very confused now. Please help. Right now i have tolarable fatigueness.
Mild reduction in disc spaces, especially lumbo-sacral, is a fairly common entity in 50 plus individuals and in those who sit for long periods (your age not mentioned). Nerve tablets increase the pain threshold and help in nerve regeneration, if you have nerve compression and reduce your pain to some extent and are generally safe in low doses. Make sure u donot put too much pressure on your back, attempt back strengthening exercises and avoid soft beds. Topical OCT gels will help. You should be free of pain in a few weeks. All the best.
