Is Regular Use Of Clinmiskin And Deriva Gel Safe?
Hello sir , as part of my pimple treatment i have been using clinmiskin gel and deriva cms gel for past 3 years . And now am completely cured from it . But still am doing the courses ,cos am feared that once if i stop using these medicines the pimples may get back . And my skin had become oily right after using these , my doubt is can i continue using these gel ?

Hi!! You have used these medicines for a long time. Clinmiskin gel contains clindamycin which is an antibiotic , to which the acne causing bacteria can become resistant on prolonged usage. So I would recommend you to stop using it . Deriva MS gel contains adapelene which doesn't have any bacterial resistance problem. You can continue using it. As far as oiliness is concerned use a facewash containing salicylic acid twice daily.
