Is Regular Clonazepam 0.5mg Intake For Treating Anxiety Illegal?

I am taking one half of a 0.5 tablet of Clonazapam in the morning and a whole0.5 mg tablet before bed. Someone has told me that should I be in an accident, my license would be taken away because of having this substance in my body. I can t believe my dr would have prescribed this for my anxiety if this were true. Thanks for your help.

when clonazepam is prescribed doctors advise notto drive after taking the drug. as it causes sedation and may result in accident. your friend s advise is true. may be doctor forgot to give instructions to you. i would recommend that you should meet your doctor again and discuss this thing with him. you may take SSRI for anxiety which are non sedating drugs.
