Is Red Blotches On Knuckles Normal After Influenza?

I have influenza A and my fever just dropped yesterday and I m feeling better. As my temp went back to normal yesterday I noticed a rash developing on my left hand then my right as well then later a bit on my right foot. There are red blotches on my knuckles and tiny red bumps/blisters spelling my fingers. Is this a normal reaction after the flu?

Hi,

'Normal' is a term that would not apply to this. Is it dangerous? I think only a GP who sees the case can answer that question. Please go to a local doctor immediately.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Marius Lazar, Dermatologist
