Is Rapid Heartbeat Normal During Pregnancy?

Hello I m 20 and about 110 pounds now, reaching 5 5 with a normal health history besides being a little under weight for my age and Hights. I m 16 weeks pregnant and suddenly get rapid heartbeating, along with feeling faint. I notice it happens whenever I feel warm or is hot . Is this normal during pregnancy ?

Hi
Dr. Purushottam welcomes you to HCM virtual clinic.
I have gone through your query.
I think I have understood your concern, I will try to suggest you the best possible treatment options.
Actually various physiological changes occur during pregnancy.
It is normal to feel rapid heart beats, -palpitations- because of the changes in blood volume and circulation in your body.
And if you are empty stomach for long ,you will faint. So have small frequent feeds.
So do not worry, what ever you are feeling is normal, and enjoy your pregnancy.
I hope my answer helps you.
Thanks.
