Is Prostate Surgery Possible Given The Present Blood Sugar Levels?

my father aged 82 years is going to surgery for prostrate. He is taking Huminsulin-R 10 unit morning, 8 units before lunch & Huminsulin 30:70 10 units before supper. Now after taking insulin for 15 days his sugar level is before food 109 and after food 180. At this stage surgery can be possible or it is better to take insulin some more days.
