Is Prolonged Use Of Tryptizol Safe?

I had severe anxiety coupled with headaches from last few years. Another problem was that I use to go for urination at night at least 3-4 times. 1 month ago Doctor prescribed me tryptizol 25mg daily after dinner. But I am taking half medicine only, the results are very good. Now not only my anxiety is under control but also now I am going for urination in the night only two time. But I am scared whether I will become dependent on this medicine please advice.

Hello,

Welcome to HCM and thanks for the query.
I am really happy for you. You were able to overcome two embarrassing problems with a small dose of Tryptazol.
There is nothing to be scarred of Tryptazol. It is a time tested medicines with very little side effects at such a small dose. It has no addiction potential and there would be no withdrawal side effect. Your symptoms may return if you stop the medicine prematurely.
Wish you good health.
