Is Prolonged Fetal Movement Normal During 20 Week Of Pregnancy?

I am 20 weeks pregnant and have an anterior placenta. I feel very soft and random kicks every now and then. This morning I felt a 10 minute period of rapid and in my paranoid head seemingly panicked fetal movements. Never had that before with this or a previous pregnancy. Should I be concerned?

thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com.....

well perceiving fetal movements or quickening is generally felt from 18-20 weeks....in multigravida, it can be felt a week earlier also...
so feeling soft and random kicks is not something unusual but they should be felt at this time of pregnancy and are good signs actually....
well the 10 min period of long and rapid movements should not be a cause of concern....
but anyways at 20 weeks generally the anomaly USG scan is done...
and so you are going to visit your GYNAECOLOGIST any time...so tell him/her about this and he/she would be able to assure you further after checking the baby's well being...

so dont panic...probably it is nothing major...

hope this was helpful....
wish you a happy motherhood.....
regards
