Is Pregnancy Possible Without Penetrative Intercourse?

Hello. I hope you all are doing well. I m going through with the toughest days of my life and now I m sharing this with you, 3 weeks back me and my bf planned a hangout, there we decided to have half sex. That wasn t planned at all. We both were standing facing each other. No protection, no condom. He took out his penis and pushed a bit in, he didn t insert as I shouted from pain, just pushed a bit. He didn t even insert an inch in me. He didn t cum. He started fingering me. As we were standing, we didn t notice that I was bleeding. Blood wasn t much. I cleaned it up then and there. After 2 weeks to it, I was giving him a handjob, he did cum but wiped it off with the tissue after 15/20 mins he started fingering me. This is what happened. Can I get pregnant? If yes then how many chances are there for me being pregnant? I m 3 days late from my period and extremely worried. My cycle is irregular from the start though plus this tension. Please help!

Hello,

Getting pregnant requires live sperm to enter the vagina, 'swim' to the ovum and fertilize it. Sometimes the pre-ejaculatory fluid may contain some sperm, so this raises some concern for pregnancy even without real penetration and ejaculation. I have to tell you though that this has to be an extremely rare event as I've never heard of any woman getting pregnant this way. So although in theory it is possible to get pregnant, it doesn't seem to be happening in real life.

Regarding fingering, the same rule applies. It depends on whether his fingers had live sperm on them. Since you were giving him the handjob and you wiped the sperm, it's probably your hands that were 'contaminated' with sperm, not his.

Therefore, I believe that your chances for pregnancy are almost nil. You shouldn't worry about that but since your period is late a pregnancy test is indicated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
