Hi,

According to your history you had intercourse around the period of ovulation, as usually in case of regular 28 to 30 days menstrual cycles ovulation is expected between 13th to 18th day. Barrier contraceptive methods like condoms having a protection rate of 85 to 98%, so the possibility of pregnancy cannot be completely ruled out.

Abdominal cramps can be seen in the premenstrual period, usually, but just by symptoms we cannot come to a conclusion regarding either premenstrual syndrome or the pregnancy. So, you please wait till your expected date of periods. If you miss your periods, please go for either urine or blood test for pregnancy to find out the possibility. If serum beta HCG levels are less than 5 mIU/mL in blood test, it rules out the possibility of pregnancy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
