Is Pregnancy Possible While On Contraceptive Pills?

I got the implant out and put back in yesterday and me and my boyfriend had sexual intercourse with a condom however it split but I am on the contraceptive pill as well and have been for about a year I am just wondering do I need to take the morning after pill or would the pill have protected me?

Hi,

You are having three protective majors, contraceptive pills, implant and condom. Out of them, only implant has need out and condoms split, still if you were regular in taking pill regularly, you don't need any emergency pills. By the way, hormonal contraceptives are sure to act, provided they are taken regularly, at fixed time of day and without a break. In such conditions you should adopt only one of them pill or implant. There is really no need to adopt both.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
