General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

There is usually a negligible chance of pregnancy when exclusive breastfeeding is going on post delivery.

By the way, in my clinic, I warn patient against the use of contraceptive pills during breastfeeding, as it is not safe for the newborn when feeding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
