Is Pregnancy Possible While On Primolut N?

I do not see my menstration sometime for like 7months and a doctor advice me to take primolut n just want to konw how to go about it, because am a marriage woman for 3years now no child, i want to be pergnant as soon as possible. Can i be pergnant after taken primolut n as advice by doctor for 10days?

Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Irregular menses, infertility are more suggestive of hormonal imbalance, possible PCOD (poly cystic ovary disease). Primolut N is hormonal pill. But in my opinion, you should consult gynecologist first and determine whether you have PCOD or not. If it is simple hormonal imbalance then Primolut N will work in regularization of your hormones. This will give you normal menstrual cycle and hence possibility of pregnancy will increase. If you found to have PCOD then you need hormone reports to identify specific hormone levels and abnormality.
