Hi,

After diagnosis of tuberculosis, it is essential to start treatment as soon as possible. Healthy and high protein food should be consumed for faster recovery. General suggestion is to avoid pregnancy during tuberculosis treatment. You may have to take around to 4 to 5 drugs for a varying period of 5 to 6 months. Some of these drugs are contraindicated in pregnancy.

Hence I would suggest you to complete your treatment course and then plan for pregnancy since this will improve the chance of pregnancy which will also be healthy and less complicated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
