Is Pregnancy Possible Through Precum?

Hi I m 18 years old I get my period every 2-3 month sometimes it comes regularly every month. But it s rare. Recently it cameo out a month ago and a month before that i didn t get it the month of ago at but at the end of august the 27 I had unprotected sex but the guy pulled out then a week later I had unprotected sex again and he pulled out as well and a couple of days later samething. I get very paranoid and I read online that guys have this thing that s called pre cum and it happens without them even knowing so the pull out method doesn t always work is it possible that I could be pregnant? And after having sex how many days later would you show symptoms? I get nausea sometimes but it s really rare but I think it s the birth control I m taking because I just started for the first time and my doctor said it would give me a little but of nausea but it was normal and then other than that I feel fine nothing else but I still get paranoid and worried and when I start to think about it I want to pee a lot. Please help

Hello,

I can understand your concern. What you have read online about the fluid that sometimes comes out of penis before ejaculation and without the guy knowing, the pre-ejaculation fluid, does contains sperms and can make a female pregnant if not using contraception.

However, as you are taking birth control pills and if you are taking them regularly every month, it is the contraceptive you are using which can protect you from pregnancy.

If you want to confirm your pregnancy status, you can take a home pregnancy urine test with the first urine in the morning after 2 weeks, preferably 3 weeks after the unprotected sexual intercourse. Alternatively, you can take a blood test which can show positive results as early as 7 days after the unprotected sexual intercourse.

I hope this answer helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Let me know if you have follow up questions.

Best,
