Is Pregnancy Possible Post Unprotected Sex?

Hi I would like to ask if I am likely to get pregnant when i had unprotective sex with my bf, June 2. he came inside me because the condom broke and my last period was May 1. So I had sex, days before my period.

I'm planning to take ECP Nordette and I'm 20 years old. What dosage could you suggest for my age?

Hi,

If you are sure that you had sex in the days nearing your periods, and you did not have sex in the month before that, I don't think you need to be worried. There is no chance of pregnancy at that stage of menstrual cycle. Emergency contraceptive is to be taken within 72 hours of sex. I don't advise to take it late. Only thing you have to do now is to exclude pregnancy after 8 days delay in periods.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
