Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking A Oral Contraceptive Pill?

I had unprotected sex and took two pills of P2 I stayed for a month and my periods didn t come......i had sex again but I was spotting very little blood which could not hinder us from having sex... I started bleeding that night and the following day I was spotting very light red blood... After taking a shower I didn t spot again.... Does it mean am pregnant?(or I ll get pregnant? Am worried

Hi,

Emergency contraception is highly effective when taken soon enough after intercourse within 72 hours with success rates close to 99%. If you did take within the 72 hours period, then its less likely you could have become pregnant at that time. But further protection could not be assured any more and you could become pregnant before even having your menses. However spotting is a common side effect of pills. Do a pregnancy test with early morning urine.
