Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Postinor-2?

Hi, please I had unprotected sex on the day my ovulation was to start. I took postinor 2 within 5 hours after. Today makes it 12days since after the drug. I have been feeling really pregnant, with all the signs of pregnancy. I am so scared i might be pregnant. I took postinor 2 about 7 years ago, but it didn t work for me. I ended up pregnant. I am scared that same thing is about to happen to me again. How early can I start having pregnancy symptoms?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

if there is more than two weeks of delay in periods then please get the blood beta HCG done and USG for final confirmation.

In first month, it is difficult to say based on only symptoms about pregnancy so I advise you to consult a gynecologist with above mentioned investigations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sohil Takodara
